David completed his massage therapy training at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), where he specialized in swedish-style massage to manage and correct musculoskeletal conditions and pain utilizing a treatment-based approach. Prior, David graduated from Dalhousie University with a bachelor of science in kinesiology, with a focus on biomechanics, physiology and motor control.
David combines his kinesiology and massage therapy backgrounds to provide a holistic approach to healing. His massage style is traditional swedish, incorporating neuromuscular techniques. For those simply wanting relaxation style, he is excellent at those too.
As a former competitive tennis player and mountain bike racer, David has dealt with many injuries and setbacks. After sustaining a broken back in 2008, David has focused on understanding the complicated and often misunderstood causes of back pain and how to treat and prevent it. He is a strong believer in the importance of living a physically active life for optimum health and well-being.
